Dr. LI Mingfeng(李 明凤)

Assistant Researcher

Mingfeng was born in Heilongjiang Province, China. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Shenyang Pharmaceutical University in 2012, followed by a Ph.D. at East China Normal University under the supervision of Prof. Wenhao Hu, focusing on asymmetric multi-component reactions involving diazo compounds. After completing her Ph.D., she joined Prof. Fanke Meng's group at SIOC as a postdoctoral fellow, where she worked on Cu-H-catalyzed enantioselective reductive coupling reactions of dienes. From 2019 to 2023, she served as a research fellow at the National University of Singapore, studying the desymmetrization of supramolecular structures, such as rotaxanes and cavitands, through ionic catalyst-controlled cross-couplings. In August 2024, she joined the Zuo group as an assistant research fellow, focusing on the activation of feedstock chemicals via LMCT catalysis.
