Sirui was born in Jiaozuo, Henan and raised in Shanghai. She obtained her bachelor's degree at Fudan University. In 2024, She arrived at the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry for a master's degree. She is studying photocatalytic applications as a graduate student in Zuo's lab. Outside the chemistry lab she enjoys dancing and traveling.
