Qing An was born in Gansu Province, China. In 2017, he received his B.Sc. in Chemistry from the College of Chemistry, Jilin University. In 2023, he received the Ph.D. degree in Chemistry under the supervision of Prof. Zhiwei Zuo at ShanghaiTech University. During this period, his research focused on environmentally benign metal catalyzed alkane functionalization and related mechanistic investigations.
