Kaining Zhang was born in Hunan, China. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree at China University of Mining and Technology in Applied chemistry in 2015. After his Bachelor’s degree, he decided to pursue his career in Organic Chemistry, in 2022 he got doctorate degree in Shanghai Institution of Organic Chemistry . During this time he worked in our group on reaction development in carbon-carbon bond activation reaction. Outside the chemistry lab Zhang enjoys traveling and table tennis.
