Zirui was born in Xingtai, Hebei Province and graduated from Wuhan University. After graduation, he joined Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry in 2023 to pursue a doctor degree at Zhiwei Zuo's research group. In addition to his studies, Zirui is a sportive guy,he enjoys badminton, long-distance running and other sports in his daily life.
