Wenbo was born and raised in Xiangyang，Hubei. He went to Wuhan University to complete his undergraduate studies and obtained a bachelor's degree. In 2023, he arrived at the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry to undertake his Ph.D. Currently, he is studying photocatalytic reactions as a graduate student in the Zuo’s group. Outside the chemistry lab he enjoys long-distance running and table tennis.
