Shun Wang was born in Sichuan province, China. He obtained his master’s degree in organic chemistry at Xi’an Jiaotong University. After his Master’s, he decided to pursue his Ph.D. degree at the University of Regensburg, where he worked with Prof. Burkhard König on photoredox catalysis. In October 2021, he joined the Zuo group as a postdoc to work on the photo-induced LMCT catalytic C-H functionalization of alkanes. Outside of the lab, Shun enjoys playing basketball and badminton.
