Hang was born in Fujian Province, China, in 1999. In 2021, he received his B.Sc. degree in chemistry from Nanjing University advised by Prof. Shouyun Yu. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, working in the lab of Prof. Zhiwei Zuo. His current research is focused on Visible Light‐induced Functionalization of C−H Bonds. Outside of lab, he enjoys riding and playing badminton.
