Yuejiao was born in Yuncheng, Shanxi province. She finished her undergraduate study in applied chemistry from Shanghai Normal University in 2019. Then she moved to Shanghaitech University for the further master study under the supervision of Prof. Baihua Ye. Her graduate research focused on cross-electrophile coupling. In October 2021, she joined the Zuo's lab at Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry as a visiting graduate student. She is currently working on developing Photoinduced functionalization of C-H bonds. Besides chemistry, she enjoys travelling and reading.
